23 September 2022 01:40:51 PM

The House of Representatives quickly ended plenary deliberation on the proposed budget of the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) on Friday, after no House Member interpellated the agency's budget. AKO-BICOL Party-list Rep. Raul Angelo Bongalon sponsored the agency’s budget of P104.91-million in the plenary. Senior Deputy Minority Leader and Northern Samar Rep. Paul Ruiz Daza only made a manifestation that the Minority would gladly join the Majority if the PLLO's budget would be augmented. In response, Deputy Majority Leader and Iloilo Rep. Janette Garin stated that they would take into account the proposal of Daza at the appropriate time. PLLO is currently headed by Secretary Mark Llandro Mendoza, who previously served as Secretary General of the House of Representatives in the 18th Congress. Deputy Speaker Kristine Singson-Meehan presided over the plenary budget deliberation of the PLLO.
