JDV statement on the latest opposition Impeachment maneuver

“The opposition is engaging in the blackest propaganda, something that is completely without basis.

“I have given my district irrigation pumps and canals, farm-to-market roads, water-impounding and anti-flood dams but not fertilizers. The fertilizers are already provided by the Department of Agriculture.

“I ran unopposed in my district – and I did not need fertilizer to win votes.”

It is highly regrettable that the opposition is trying to exploit this issue in an act of political desperation. The House will perform its constitutional duty guided by the lamp of conscience.
