Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, Jr. gamely does a "selfie" with Hon. (DC), Democrat; Katie Koupal, Chief of Staff, Office of the Kansas Senate Vice-President, Republican; Mr. Steve Schale, President, Schale Communications, Democrat; and Mr. Matt Summy, ACYPL Escort, Vice-President, External and Government Affair (IL), Comcast, Democrat. The visit is hosted by the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) in partnership with the National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL) led by its National President and Quezon City Councilor Dorothy Delarmente. Present during the call were Rep. Anthony G. Del Rosario, Chairman, Committee on Youth and Sports Development; Rep. Jose Christopher Y. Belmonte, Assistant Majority Leader, Committee on Rules; Rep. Terry L. Ridon, Member for the Minority, Committee on Youth and Sports Development; Rep. Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman, Vice-Chairman, Committee on Muslim Affairs. The U.S. Embassy was represented by Ms. Marilou Apolinario. An informal dialogue was held covering various issues affecting youth development, the electoral system, education, peace and order, the Visayas and Mindanao natural disasters and the Philippine legislative systems, among others.
