Rep. Ma. Angelica Amante-Matba (2nd District, Agusan del Norte), chairman of the House Committee on Women and Gender Equality, found precious time to lead the Monday (March 4, 2013) flag-raising cermony attended by House Secretariat officials and employees. The young lady lawmaker took the opportunity to express her thanks and gratitude to the support extended to her by the Secretariat led by Secretary General Marilyn Barua-Yap, particularly the work force of her committee headed by Committee Secretary Beatriz L. Sanga, in pursuit of her advocacies promoting women's rights and activism in nation building.
