SETTING STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS

House of Representatives officials representing all offices of the Secretariat under Secretary General Marilyn Barua-Yap, completed the last part of their four-day Strategic Planning Workshop 2013 begun months back. It was run and moderated by Dep. Sec Gen Edgardo Pangilinan involving weeks of individual work, consultation and consensus among the various offices with the end in view of providing better and more significant service. It was as an exercise not only to draw up departmental and bureau plans that but likewise to ensure inter-departmental awareness and cooperation towards specific goals relevant to the Secretariat mandate of providing professional and efficient service to both House Members and the general public.
