Speaker Jose de Venecia and Ms. Dahlia Rubiano-Villacorte were recipients of awards of recognition from the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons (NCWDP) for the establishment of a "Disabled-friendly" website aimed at helping persons with disabilities maximize their potentials in national development. De Venecia and Ms. Rubiano-Villacorte (webmaster) appreciate the plaque of recognition they received from Leopoldo Valdes (3rd from left), managing director of Vision Office Support Services, Ltd. of Canada and consultant to NCWDP, in the presence of (from left) Reps. Eduardo Zialcita, Simeon Kintanar, Deputy Speaker Gerry Salapuddin and Carlos Lacson and DSWD officials and members of the House secretariat who attended the awarding rites at the Speaker's Batasan office on Wednesday.
