COMMITMENT TO REFORMS
Before Congress adjourned its 2nd regular session on June 6th, Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, Jr. led the House of Representatives in Plenary in officially commending the HREP Prosecution team, the private prosecutors and the House Secretariat impeachment team for having performed and exemplary collective task during the now historic impeachmnt trial of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona. The Speaker is shown in a symbolic hand shake with Rep. Niel Tupas, Jr., Committee on Justice Chairman and lead prosecutor. Also shown are Rep. The Congressional commendations were in consonance with House Resolutions Nos. 2461, 2462, 2463 and 2464 which the plenary unanimously adopted.
