While conducting multiple hearings to defeat COVID-19, the House of Representatives was also able to unanimously approve on third and final reading three bills of national significance on Wednesday. These were: House Bill 5083 or the proposed “Agrarian and Agricultural Loan Restructuring and Condonation Act” principally authored by Rep. Sabiniano Camana (Party-list, COOP NATCCO); HB 6137 or the proposed “Corporate Social Responsibility Act” principally authored by Deputy Majority Leader Juan Miguel Arroyo; and HB 6139 or the proposed “Parent-Teacher and Community Act” principally authored by Majority Leader Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez (Party-list, TINGOG SINIRANGAN). The House will resume plenary session on Tuesday, following the observance of Eid’l Fitr on Monday, May 25.
