The House of Representatives Day Care Center celebrated on Thursday the United Nations Day which featured DDC pupils wearing the national costumes of some UN-member countries such as Brunei, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Canada, Hawaii, United States of America, Brazil, Austria, England, Greece, Africa and Egypt. The celebration started with a parade followed by a program. The program opened with a prayer by DDC pupil Elisha Danelle Gemil, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Misha Arya Guimbalan. The children, with their parents, displayed their talents in singing, dancing, and poem recitation. Caezar Mariposque, Chief of the House Personnel Development and Welfare Group-Human Resources Management Service (PDWG-HRMS) lauded the pupils and their parents for being involved in the activities of their children.
