JURISDICTION: All matters directly and principally relating to the achievement of the country's commitment to the millenium development goals by 2015 including eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, achieving universal primary education, promoting gender equality and empowering women, reducing child mortality, improving maternal health, combatting HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, ensuring environmental sustainability and developing global partnership for development.
