    Text of House bills, resolutions and committee reports from the 13th Congress (2004 - 2007) to present are available electronically via the Download Center of the Web site. Bills with text can be searched by number or keywords in the title. All versions are As Filed unless otherwise indicated in the document. Printed copies of House documents for the current Congress are available through the Bills and Index Division at the SW-Basement, HOR Complex while House documents for the past Congresses are available through the Legislative Archives at the NW-Basement, HOR Complex.

  • Authorship

    Lists of bills and resolutions authored and co-authored by each House Member are available through the member's Web page.

  • Committee Referrals

    List of bills and resolutions referred to each House Committee are available through the committee's Web page.

  • Legislative Information System (LEGIS)

    A flexible query system for House bills/resolutions, privilege speeches and transmitted Senate bills. Through this module, users can do a bill/resolution search in various ways: by number, author, committee referral, title, etc. Users may also further limit search by specifying type, significance, status and period covered as well as defining specific data outputs. Another important feature is that users can have query results disposed in several formats: either in link-enabled(HTML), printable, save(text) or even columnar format which is suitable for export to EXCEL and other similar structured data types such as databases.

REPUBLIC ACTS

Text of Republic Acts from the 8th (1987 - 1992) through the 15th Congresses (2010 - 2013) are available electronically via the Download Center of the Web site. RAs can be searched by number or keywords in the title and can also be viewed by Congress number. Printed copies are available through the Legislative Archives at the NW-Basement, HOR Complex.

HOUSE JOURNALS

The official record of the session proceedings in the House. Text of House Journals from the 12th (2001 - 2004) through the 16th Congresses (2013 - present) are available electronically via the Download Center of the Web site. Journals are searchable by keywords and can also be viewed by Congress number. Printed copies are available through the Journal Service at the SW-Basement, HOR Complex.

CONGRESSIONAL RECORD

Text of Congressional Record is a substantially verbatim account of remarks made during the proceedings of the House, subject only to technical, grammatical, and typographical corrections authorized by the Member involved. Printed copies are available through the Publication Service at the SW-Basement, HOR Complex.
